I think you could DIY it; get a Tipo grille and an Abarth badge for it. But it’d be for the Neon, not for the Dart.

I nearly forgot these exi sted.

I’ve never seen a single Tipo hatchback or estate on the road of this generation.

They are quite a good looking car.

Not long ago I learned that the answer to this is “yes”. I’m still in disbelief. FCA admitting they still sell a Neon is like someone admitting they are huge Nickelback fans.

Me neither, I really liked the 200s with the V6... but Chrysler finds a way to make a V6 AWD compact bad.

They should really make the Neon with a good engine.

I agree, but when it comes to substance I don’t know... top trim Dart had 180hp... this slowpoke has 110hp. Granted, the dart was a significantly heavier car despite only being moderately larger.

A new car for only £11,000, granted discounted.

Seems new and used ones with 13,000 miles on the clock are going for £11,000.

New

from 10,000 miles up.

They should be shifting more at that price but yet, I’ve never seen one on the road.

They do look a bit more expensive than 11k... I saw a lot of them in Spain, and here in Mexico they cost around 10,000 pounds without any discount. According to Wikipedia they’ve sold 7,000 of those here since the introduction last year.

VW still corners that market because the Neon is kind of inbetween.

The Vento is much cheaper than the base model Neon, and the Jetta is cheaper than the top trim Neon... The Vento is a better known car and the Jetta is much better than the Neon/tipo.

FCA are becoming an ‘also ran’, like Mitsubishi and Suzuki in the U.K.

Ford, Vauxhall, VW, etc... dominate the car market.

They announced that back in the Spring of 2016, when the Dart was in its last few months of production.

I guess at the time, Fiat Chrysler still thought it was a good idea to keep some sort of toehold in the American  compact car market, but, since there’s been no news since then and we’re now in FCA US’s second model year without a compact, I think we can assume plans have changed.

Not really, they only have two regular  passenger cars - one’s a city car (two sizes below a compact) and one’s a roadster.
